EVolution in Action | Accelerating the Local Government Transition to Electric Vehicles in WA

This CPP webinar explores the Western Australian Local Government Association (WALGA) groundbreaking EV fleet pilot project with 22 Local Governments representing a whopping 58% of the state’s population. This initiative is designed to fast-track the transition to electric vehicles (EVs) by uniting the needs of both smaller regional shires and larger metropolitan councils through a bulk procurement process that ensures maximum value for money. We’ll also hear from the City of Stirling, one of the local councils involved in this project to learn how this program is assisting their organisation to electrify its fleet.

Plugged in Workforce | Exploring Home Charging for Staff Fleet Cars

This CPP webinar features case studies of two very different approaches to staff-charging of fleet vehicles in New Zealand. Spotlighting the Bay of Plenty Regional Council’s approach vs The Warehouse Group, a leading New Zealand company, and unpacks the decisions and rationale applied in how they have decided to manage staff fleet vehicle charging methods.

Shifting focus to Australia, this webinar also explores the opportunity  for councils  to apply for ARENA’s $6.2 million funding in Origin’s Energy’s Accelerate EV Fleet Program,  supporting the installation of smart chargers that seek to mitigate extra operational costs of EV fleets. We also hear from an Amped Consulting EV charging expert who regularly consults with state and local councils on electrifying their fleets. Watch this webinar to hear some practical insights, best practices, and real-world anecdotes, equipping you with the knowledge needed to navigate the transition to home-based fleet car charging.
