The Energy Transformation Strategy is the Government’s work program to ensure the delivery of secure, reliable, sustainable and affordable electricity to Western Australians for years to come.
Minister for Energy Hon Bill Johnston MLA announced two major initiatives to help Western Australia respond to the energy transformation underway and plan for the future:
- a Whole of System plan to help coordinate the planning and development of our power system in the south west of the state; and
- a Distributed Energy Resource (DER) Roadmap, a plan to integrate DER, such as solar PV and battery systems, into our power system in a safe and secure way.
