Climate Summit for Local Government

Sept 6-8, 2023 | Melbourne

Greens candidate Natalie Warren was elected to the third spot in Curl Curl after 15 recounts. She will join Mr Regan and Liberal Dave Walton in representing the ward. Ms Warren said she hoped to bring a stronger environmental influence. She said she hoped to sign up to the Climate Council’s City Power Partnership which promotes renewable energy, improving energy efficiency in council run buildings and moving away from fossil fuels. “It would be a great framework in getting some meaningful action on climate change,” she said. All three Frenchs Forest councillors — YNBIT members Roslyn Harrison and Penny Philpott as well as Liberal Stuart Sprott were known after the first count on election night.
