Join us on Tuesday 28 February at 1pm AEDT for an insightful look into the burgeoning EV ute market and explore the fleet electrification options for local government. We have a full panel line-up with car industry leaders in the field including LDV providing Australia’s first EV ute for commercial fleets. ROEV converting Toyota Hiluxes and Ford Rangers to electric powertrains for fleet customers and ACE EV Group designing light commercial electric utes and vans for tradies and city living.
Rounding out this panel, we’ll be joined by the City of Yarra Fleet Manager, Australia’s first council to add EV utes within their fleet line up.
As councils seek to decarbonise their fleets, 2023 is shaping up as the year electric utes are starting to make inroads within the Australian car marketplace. With 660,000 utes in operation across Australian fleets and making up to one fifth of all vehicle sales in the country, utes are indisputably a popular vehicle of choice.
However as highlighted in a recent government report Australia’s emissions projections 2022, light commercial vehicle emissions from utes, vans and SUVs – have jumped approximately 20 per cent in the last decade. Given these high levels of harmful CO2 emissions and as fuel costs continue to climb, government and corporate fleet managers alike are turning their minds to transition to EV utes as more of these vehicles make their way to our shores.
Don’t miss the opportunity to have your EV ute questions answered as we examine:
• Snapshot of the EV ute market in Australia now and within next 5 years
• Understand your fleet options ranging from purchasing EV utes versus vehicle conversions
• Learn how your council can best plan the fleet transition across different vehicle models
• Be informed as to Total Cost of Ownership (TCO) and emissions reduction savings for your council
• Explore the possibilities certain EV ute models can provide from charging electric power tools onsite to bi-directional charging and energy management solutions for your council
