Australians are flocking to take up solar, batteries, and electric vehicles. But we all know that the energy system is complex and this can be a confusing process, leaving many people locked out or with sub-optimal outcomes. That’s why Energy Consumers Australia has launched Plug In – an independent hub with factsheets, blogs, and videos to remove the guesswork for people wanting to buy or use new energy technology.
The Plug In materials are free resources that have been designed for organisations such as local council to use and distribute to support their communities. Already we’re working with dozens of organisations who are benefiting from these resources.
Find out:
- what’s included in the resources,
- how your council can better support consumers wanting to make the switch to new energy tech,
- and how you can get involved.
Presenter:
Rebekah Thielemans is the Communications and Engagement Manager at Energy Consumers Australia where she is responsible for running campaigns to support consumers and key communications initiatives. Rebekah has worked in climate communications, sustainable development, and multicultural engagement both in Australia and overseas.
