Afternoon Tea Q&A with Lara Daddow from the City of Adelaide

Sustainability Incentive Scheme – Driving uptake of sustainable technologies in the City of Adelaide

Join us for afternoon tea at 3pm AEST Thursday 26th May as we hear from Lara Daddow from the City of Adelaide.

Join us to learn about the City of Adelaide’s Sustainability Incentive Scheme that provides cash rebates to residents, businesses and organisations for sustainable technologies and actions. One of the biggest success factors of the scheme is how it has evolved over time. The main objective is to drive the uptake of emerging low carbon products and services which are often more expensive and less common within the general community. By reducing the financial barrier, we have clearly demonstrated people’s willingness to invest and lead the charge in tackling their own greenhouse emissions. This session will provide a brief overview of the scheme including preliminary findings from a review that is underway and address questions from participants.
