How the ACT Government has approached the zero emissions vehicles transition

This initiative won the Sustainable Transport Climate Award in 2021.
Alex Killeen is Assistant Director for Zero Emissions Government, part of the Climate Change and Energy Division in ACT Government. He holds master’s degrees in Physics with Astrophysics and Mechanical Engineering with Management and has been in his current role for 2 years. Prior to that, Alex worked on the latest Renewable Energy Reverse Auction in 2020 and prior to that spent 6 years as a patent examiner and patent analyst at IP Australia, specialising in oil & gas and mining.
