Climate change is a key issue for Local Governments that impacts almost all aspects of their operations and responsibilities. This Policy Statement represents the consolidated position of Western Australian Local Governments regarding this important issue.
WALGA will promote the Climate Change Policy Statement and act consistently with its content. The Policy Statement will form the basis for WALGA’s climate change advocacy on behalf of the WA Local Government sector.
