Adopted in May 2019, the policy provides criteria for the provision, installation, management, maintenance and removal of EV charging stations on public land in the Shoalhaven City Council Local Government Area (LGA). The Policy outlines the principles for planning EV charging infrastructure on public land and to support the selection of the correct type of infrastructure at the right location.
This policy does not apply to the provision of EV charging stations on private land. Council does not preference provision of EV charging stations on public land over private land.
