Lismore City Council set itself the target to generate 100% of its electricity needs from renewable energy sources by 2023. Their strategy is set out in the Renewable Energy Master Plan. The Plan provides an example for regional councils how to promote and implement renewable energy and energy efficiency at residential, commercial and large scale.
