The National Community Energy Strategy offers insight into the agenda, set of objectives and priority initiatives to grow a vibrant community energy sector across Australia. This resource can be used by council staff to get a better understanding of the opportunities and challenges associated with community energy in the country. It also provides insights into viable business models, and aspects of funding, finance and capacity building. The Strategy also highlights policy and regulatory reforms needed to enable community energy. Hence it can be also used for advocacy purposes by councils.
