Published by Economic Development QLD, this Practice Note outlines the principles for planning electric vehicle (EV) charging infrastructure in Priority Development Areas (PDAs) in Queensland, to support the selection of the right type of infrastructure at the right location. It is intended to assist government authorities, town planners, developers and landholders looking at installing EV charging infrastructure. This Practice Note does not replace or override any applicable local planning laws, building codes and Australian standards.
