This decision guide has been created to provide a step guide to identifying which community solar model will work best for a local community. The Guide includes case-study examples of community solar projects, basic information on what types of community solar projects are currently viable and why, as well as a decision tree diagram. The decision points in this diagram represent some of the questions and choices community groups will need to answer and address in setting up a community energy project. This guide can be promoted by councils and used to facilitate the development of community energy projects in their local government area.
