On 27 June 2018 the Senate established the Select Committee on Electric Vehicles to inquire into the use and manufacture of electric vehicles in Australia. 137 submissions were received followed by public hearings & site visits to electric bus manufacturer & EV charging station manufacturers.
The final report was released in Jan 2019.
