“Embedding climate action across council processes”
Join us for afternoon tea at 3pm AEST Thursday 23rd June as we hear from Tracie Armstrong from Knox City Council. Tracie will take us through the journey of embedding climate action in processes right across council, the challenges faced and lessons learnt along the way.
Tracie is an experienced sustainability and climate change professional. She holds a Masters in Sustainability from Monash University and currently works for Knox City Council creating and implementing the Climate Response Plan 2021-2031. Prior to this, she was Deputy Director of the Cities Power Partnership. On a personal note, she walks the sustainability talk by living in an off-grid Tiny House with her family in the forests of the Dandenong Ranges.
