Speakers:
Jacqui Salter
Jacqui has been the Community Environmental Education Coordinator at the Mornington Peninsula Shire for the past three years. Prior to that, she worked as Landcare Facilitator for the Mornington Peninsula for nearly 10 years as well as with not-for-profits and Chisholm Institute in environmental education. Jacqui is passionate about re-establishing connection to our environment and supporting young people and women in environmental leadership roles. Jacqui has a PhD from Monash University in Ecology and now resides in Bunurong country with her family and two dogs.
Mike McEvoy
Mike is the National Program Manager at Climate for Change, a NFP with the mission to create the social climate in Australia for effective climate action. Mike leads C4C’s Climate Conversations Program, MP Engagement Group Program, Partnership Program and Climate Action For Everyone Program. He has led the design of culture change programs in both the corporate and disability sectors, and has over 15 years experience working as an actor, theatre-maker and facilitator on community-building and creative projects. He was elected as a Local Councillor in the City of Yarra in 2016 and advocated local climate action until his move to Climate for Change in 2019.
