THE Parramatta Greens have urged Parramatta Council to act on its new Environmental Sustainability Strategy and a new report from the Climate Council, by making a pledge for local action on climate change.The Climate Council has also invited local governments to sign up to its Cities Power Partnership pledge, which would give the council access to resources to take action in areas ranging from renewable energy and efficiency to transport and advocacy.
