Join us on Thursday the 30th of June at 2:30pm AEST as we hear from the Energy Efficiency Council of Australia guide us through the current energy landscape as well as practical examples of energy efficiency initiatives achieving success at Northern Beaches Council in NSW.
Navigating a dynamic energy landscape: understanding the energy transition, net zero transformation, and the role of energy management.
The energy transition and net zero transformation happening across Australia and the world is impacting all energy consumers, from large corporations to SMEs and individual households. Councils and governments are also preparing themselves for this transition through supporting their constituents with information that they can use to lower their energy and emissions, as well as improving energy and emissions management in their own operations.
This session will provide an overview of what’s driving the energy transition and net zero transformation, including what’s happening with the current energy price crisis, how energy management can play a role in cutting costs, boosting productivity, improving resilience and actually achieving net zero, and the resources available to support councils, households and businesses through these turbulent times.
