The Cities Power Partnership National Summit 2021 is the premier national event for local government climate and energy leaders. Held online for the first time, this event will bring together councils from across Australia for our largest summit yet.

As the world transitions to net zero carbon, local governments are well placed to capitalise on the clean economy and create thousands of jobs and healthier communities. Towns and cities are already leading the way in creating a strong and prosperous future. This leadership is crucial as we recover from the impacts of the global pandemic, bushfires and other damaging extreme weather events.

The National Summit 2021 will draw together the best local and international minds working on climate and energy to identify key opportunities, inform practical actions and inspire climate innovation at the local government level. It will also provide important opportunities for networking and collaboration between councils from across the country.

This event is open to all Australian councils and free for Cities Power Partnership member councils.

Who should attend?

Registrations for the Summit are open to Cities Power Partnership member councils and non-member councils.

  • Mayors and Councillors
  • Environment and sustainability teams
  • Energy and carbon managers
