Rebecca has been with the Bay of Plenty Regional Council since 2018, and leads a team responsible for plant & fleet, insurance, facilities and corporate sustainability. She oversees the fleet and building operations, fleet optimisation, and decarbonising the fleet to reduce Council’s carbon footprint. BOPRC is aiming to transition all small passenger vehicles to EVs by 2025 and is now transitioning some utility vehicles to hybrid SUVs until there is a suitable EV utility option.
