Join us for afternoon tea at 3pm AEST Thursday 13 April as we hear from Suze Dunford, Manager of Sustainability and Resilience at Waverley Council talk to us about 3 projects that are helping to embed future thinking across Council’s controls, urban greening and youth empowerment work. 

These include:

• Modelling future climate to better understand residential design requirements for future resilience
• Building SkyParks on a local Westfield shopping centre to reduce urban heat and foster connection to nature

• Hosting intergenerational conversations to localise climate change responses and activate actions

Our Afternoon Tea Q&As run for half an hour, every second Thursday at 3pm AEST, where a speaker presents on a climate topic relevant to local government and then opens the floor for questions and discussion. Join us!
