Afternoon Tea Q&A: Regional & Remote WA Climate Projects of Value, Goldfield Voluntary Regional Organisation of Councils

8 Jun 2023
3:00pm - 3:30pm
Join us on Zoom

Join us for afternoon tea at 3pm AEST Thursday 8 June as we hear about a collaborative Regional Climate Alliance in the large and remote Goldfields Esperance region of WA. The alliance is gaining traction and finding value for its nine small and under-resourced LGA members by sharing a 1 FTE Coordinator, a position that is hosted by the Shire of Esperance

Come along to learn about the projects undertaken so far:

  • A Carbon Emissions Baseline Study,
  • Renewable Energy Audit,
  • and a Risk Assessment and Adaptation Plan.

Our Afternoon Tea Q&As run for half an hour, every second Thursday at 3pm AEST, where a speaker presents on a climate topic relevant to local government and then opens the floor for questions and discussion. Join us!
