The Cities Power Partnership team is excited to announce we have launched early bird ticket sales to our Climate Summit for Local Government 2023, which will take place in Melbourne from September 6-8.
This event is for elected officials and council executives (e.g. CEOs and General Managers), to engage in 2.5 days of climate action discussion, workshops, keynotes etc. The Summit will allow us to get moving on some serious advocacy for a clean energy future, not only within local governments, but in state and federal government too.
We sincerely hope all of our 178 member councils will be represented at our Summit in September. It’s promising to be an essential local government gathering, focused on climate action. We’d love for you to share the news with your council’s elected officials (Mayors, Councillors) and council executives (CEOs, General Managers).
Early bird tickets were launched this week, and are available to both member and non-member councils. Our 2.5 day program includes an electric vehicle showcase and networking event, two full days of conference program, and our Climate Awards dinner (councils will hear more on the submission process soon). 2023 is certainly the year for expanding the reach of the Cities Power Partnership, and we look forward to bringing even more council representatives along on this journey!
