We’re going carbon neutral with NCOS
The Cities Power Partnership Summit is committed to certifying as a carbon neutral event under the National Carbon Offset Standard (NCOS), the only government recognised carbon neutral standard in Australia.
The National Carbon Offset Standard for Events is a best-practice guide to measuring, reducing, offsetting and reporting emissions for events. The Cities Power Partnership National Summit will be only the second event certified under this scheme.
We’re proud to be working with supporting partner Pangolin Associates and Kiama Council’s Pavilion venue team on our NCOS certification.
To get us there, we need your help. We want to accurately understand the Summit’s carbon footprint, including emissions from attendees and partners travelling to the event, so we can offset them appropriately. When you are registering for the Summit, please take the time to complete details about your travel as accurately as possible, to help us to minimise our climate impact.
